JustOn GmbH is committed to protecting the security of personal data. We respect the privacy of the information you provide and use it solely in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the German Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG, federal data protection act), and this privacy statement. Personal data means any information that can personally identify you, such as your name, addresses, user names, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, etc.

 

In general, we collect and use your personal data only to the extent necessary to provide the functions and services we offer. This Privacy Statement is to inform you of the type, scope and purpose of the personal data that we collect and use.

1.2 How Do We Collect Data?

The following data is registered automatically as soon as you use the JustOn website or the JustOn documentation:

 

  • Technical data of your device: web browser, operating system, IP address
  • Date and time of the access
  • Pages visited on the JustOn web site or the JustOn documentation

 

When you charge your vehicle using JustOn for E-Mobility, the following data is captured automatically:

  • Date and time
  • Charging station
  • Consumed electrical energy

 

In addition, we process data when you disclose it to us:

 

1.3 For Which Purpose Do We Use the Data?

Technical data (web browser, operating system, IP address) is captured in order to correctly deliver the JustOn website and the JustOn documentation to your device. Other data (date and time, visited pages) is used to analyze the user behavior on the JustOn website (see JustOn Web Site and JustOn Documentation).

 

Information that you have made available to us via the contact form, as a job applicant, as a customer or as a user of JustOn for E-Mobility is used exclusively with the purpose of providing the functions and services we offer.

 

1.4 What Rights Do You Have With Regard to Your Data?

At any time you have the right to free disclosure of your personal data stored with us, its origin and recipients, as well as the purpose of data processing. You also have the right to rectify, restrict, delete or transfer such data, if applicable. You may object to the processing of your personal data and revoke any consent you may have given. In addition, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority concerned, the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

1.5 What Technology Do We Use?

On grounds of security and protection of the information you provide, the JustOn website and the JustOn documentation and JustOn for E-Mobility make use of an SSL encryption. A website address starting with https:// and a lock icon in the browser bar indicate an encrypted connection. An active SSL encryption is to prevent the information you provide from being accessed and used by third parties.

 

Please note, however, that the data transmission via the Internet may not be secure. Transferred data cannot be completely protected from being accessed by third parties.

 

When visiting the JustOn website and the JustOn documentation, your user behavior may be statistically evaluated. This involves the use of cookies as well as Google AnalyticsThe evaluation is anonymous, that is, the user behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can prevent this analysis by not allowing cookies or by deactivating Google Analytics. For details, refer to the sections Cookies and Google Analytics.

 

Note that our content may contain links to websites of other providers that are not affiliated with us. If you click these links, we no longer have control over the processing of any personal data that may have been transferred to the third parties (like your IP address or the URL on which the link is located). 2.1 JustOn Website and JustOn Documentation

Generally, you can access and use the JustOn website (https://www.juston.comwithout disclosing personal data. In case our site asks for personal data, such as names or email addresses, this data is used exclusively for the specified purpose (contact or download request). You can access and use the JustOn documentation website (https://docs.juston.com) without disclosing personal data.

 

Please note, however, that the data transmission via the Internet may not be secure. Transferred data cannot be completely protected from being accessed by third parties.

Technical data (web browser, operating system, IP address) is captured in order to correctly deliver the JustOn website and the JustOn documentation to your device. Other data (date and time, visited pages) is used to analyze the user behavior on the JustOn website. This information helps us to optimize our services, making our website and documentation more user-friendly and more secure. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in the data processing in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

 

2.1.1 Cookies

The JustOn website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are generated when you visit our website and then downloaded to your device. Cookies help us to optimize our website, making it more user-friendly and more secure. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in the data processing in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

 

Cookies do not harm your device and do not contain viruses.

2.1.2 Google Analytics

The JustOn website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. This service is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

 

On behalf of JustOn, Google will use the information obtained from the traffic analysis to evaluate your use of the JustOn website and to produce reports on website activities. The evaluation of this data helps us to consistently improve the usability of the JustOn website. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in the data processing in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. By anonymizing the IP address, the protection of personal data is sufficiently taken into account.

 

Google Analytics uses cookies, text files that are stored on your device (see Cookies)and that allow to analyze your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website will usually be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

 

You can prevent the installation of cookies via the appropriate setting of your browser software (see Cookies). Be aware, however, that disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of the JustOn website.

 

In the context of Google Analytics, the JustOn website has enabled the IP address anonymization feature. This feature sets the last digits of user IP addresses to zeros as soon as data is received by the Analytics Collection Network and before any storage or processing takes place. The full IP address is never written to disk.

 

You can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the JustOn website by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

2.1.3 Social Media

The JustOn website uses social media buttons (Xing, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) to allow you to interact with third parties. These buttons are not incorporated as plugins, but as links. Clicking a button will take you directly to the website of the corresponding social media provider. The provider is then responsible both for compliance with the data protection regulations and for the correctness, up-to-dateness and completeness of the published information on data processing, see Article 4(17) of the GDPR.

 

We have no control over the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the scope of data collection, the purposes of processing and the storage terms. Information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the social media provider is available in the privacy statements of these providers. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and possible settings to protect your privacy.

 

2.2 Contact Form

When you send a request via our contact form, we will save and process the data provided in the request form as well as any provided contact data in order to process your request and to answer any additional questions. The basis for collecting and processing your data is your request (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) as well as our legitimate interest in efficiently responding to your requests or contacting potential new customers (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

 

The data we have stored will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their respective purpose (contact request or download request) and as long as the deletion of certain data does not conflict with any legal storage obligations, such as exist for data that potentially serve to initiate a contract.

 

2.3 Job Application

You can apply for a job with us by sending an e-mail to jobs@juston.com. When you do so, the data you provide will be stored for the purpose of responding to your application. To this end, we use the HR management software Personio. Please find information on data protection and data security with Personio in Data protection & IT security on the Personio website.

 

Your application data is accessible to the executive management of JustOn GmbH and our partner for employee management, SiebenWunder GmbH, Leutragraben 1, 07743 Jena, Germany (http://siebenwunder.de/). We have contractually bound SiebenWunder GmbH to process your data in accordance with our instructions and not for its own purposes, and to comply with the necessary data protection and data security standards.

 

We collect and process your application data on the basis of pre-contractual measures in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR in combination with Article 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

 

If you do not ask for your data to be deleted, your data will be stored completely for 90 days after processing your job application. Thereafter, the data is automatically anonymized. Personal data will be deleted, and statistical data such as location, position and application date will be kept.

 

Should we wish to keep your application for a longer time because your profile could correspond to a job that might be advertised in the future, we will specifically ask for your consent. In case you are hired on the basis of your application, the storage period of your personal data is strictly based on the purposes of the employment contract, taking into account the legal obligations to store personal data.

 

2.4 Sales, Invoicing, Support

For advice and inquiries about online product presentations or licensing and service offers, you can contact our sales department by telephone or e-mail. The data you provide, such as the expected number of invoices generated per month, the possible number of users or any connections to third-party systems, as well as the contact data you provide will be stored as customer master data for processing your request and for the event of further questions. We collect and process your data on the basis of pre-contractual measures in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

 

In the event of an agreement to deliver software and related services to you, we will process the collected data to fulfill the contract in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

 

For the purpose of billing the software and related services provided to you by us, we automatically collect content data that is linked to your customer master data, including the number of invoices generated per month, user licenses, support time consumed. The basis for collecting and processing this data is your consent (Article 6(1)( a) of the GDPR), our obligation to fulfill the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), as well as our legitimate interest in receiving remuneration for our services as agreed (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

 

After the contract and the legally required retention periods have expired, we will delete your data.

 

As part of an agreement on software and related services to be provided, we may render support in the installation, launch, administration and operation of the JustOn software. In this context, we may use your data (Salesforce user names) to access your Salesforce instances. The legal basis on which we do this is our obligation to fulfill the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

 

2.5 JustOn for E-Mobility

You can register to use JustOn for E-Mobility, a software for operating charging stations for electric vehicles. When you do so, we will store the contact and vehicle data you provide as customer master data. We collect and process your data on the basis of pre-contractual measures in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

 

In the event of a subsequent vehicle charging transaction, we will process the collected data to fulfill the contract in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

 

For the purpose of billing the electric energy provided to you, we automatically collect content data that is linked to your customer master data, in particular the charging station and the electric energy delivered in each charging transaction. The basis for collecting and processing this data is your consent (Article 6(1)( a) of the GDPR), our obligation to fulfill the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), as well as our legitimate interest in receiving remuneration for our services as agreed (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

 

After closing your customer account or at your request and after the legally required retention periods have expired, we will delete your data.
